Mortgage Interest Rates Hit Decades Low
Stay at home orders have given consumers time to re-imagine their living conditions with more deliberate room for home offices and more usable outdoor living space. With record-low rates, new home daydreams are turning into determined home shopping. The average 30-year fixed mortgage interest rates fell to 3.15% from 3.24% the previous week setting a new record low for the third time in the past three months. Experts varied on their housing predictions, but many agree that the housing market is holding-up largely due to mortgage rates.
