Mortgage Interest Rates Hit 3-Month Low
It's good news for home mortgage shoppers as Freddie Mac today reports that a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.60%. Last year mortgage shoppers were averaging 4.45% for a 30-year fixed-rate loan. Interest rates are nearly at all-time lows and it is helping home shoppers as new home construction and home sales react to these favorable financial conditions.
