Proximity to Good Schools Important to Homebuyers
Home shoppers certainly know what they are looking for and what they are willing to sacrifice to make certain that their children go to the right schools. According to a realtor.com® survey, 91 percent of the 1,000 prospective homebuyers surveyed said that school boundaries were important in their search for a new home. Furthermore, one out of five shoppers would pay six to 10 percent over their home-buying budget to be in a better school district. With good schools comes good property values for all who choose to live in the community.
