Las Vegas, NV
Symphony Park is a harmonious blend of diverse developments which, together, create the first modern-day city neighborhood in Las Vegas. Located in the heart of downtown—just a few miles north of the famed Las Vegas Strip—Symphony Park is home to world-class arts, culture, science, and medicine. Newland served as the development manager, working alongside staff from the City of Las Vegas to execute and oversee all development plans, and has involvement in future planned residences. Symphony Park was awarded LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification for Neighborhood Development by the US Green Building Council.
Today, the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, DISCOVERY Children’s Museum, and Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health serve as the project's anchors. The Smith Center for the Performing Arts, Las Vegas’ first performing arts center, is home to the Las Vegas Philharmonic, Nevada Ballet Theatre, and touring productions. The Frank Gehry-designed Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health is a highly specialized clinical center staffed and operated by the renowned Cleveland Clinic, and anchors the medical and office district.
